VK Lite s Series Video Wall Controller Quick Start_V 2.1.5

1. Hardware preparation before commissioning:

*Prepare a PC commissioning terminal that supports 1080P resolution and installs WIN10.

*One VK S equipment. (One power cord, one network cable, one 3pin to serial port cable.)

2. Safety check before use:

1. All displays are installed and powered on

2. Whether all HDMI and network cables are connected

3. Whether the power signal of VK S equipment is operating normally

Input card: connect the signal source

Output card: connect to the screen

Control card: Support RS232/LAN connection, network control connection control computer network cable.

5.4 Enter the software interface

The software is stored with the equipment in the form of a U disk. For specific operations, please refer to the operation manual (the operation manual is stored with the equipment) or you can consult professional technicians.

6. Computer terminal control can be realized through the network gigabit switch

Modify the computer IP to ensure that it is in the same network segment as the VK S device.

Change the Ethernet IP address of the control computer to the same network segment. The default IP address of VK S is 192.168.0.178. You need to modify the IP address of the control computer to 192.168.0.xx. To change the computer IP address, you need to open the "Network Connection" window. Click on the window R, type "register password" in the run box, and then click the Enter key.

In the "Network Connections" window, right-click the adapter for which you want to set a static IP address, and then select the "Properties" command.

In the properties window of the adapter, select "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPV4)", and then click the "Properties" button.

After entering the next page, just make the following modifications, and then click "OK" to save.

IP address: 192.168.0.xx (2~254)

Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

Default gateway: 192.168.0.1

7. Set up

If the signal is not flashed, carefully review the pre-steps for errors. If the cause is not found, please contact our company's professional technicians.

After entering the software, the most important thing is to set the video wall layout first, click on "Video Wall", and then click on "Layout". Because my current screen is 3*3, I only need to change the Row value to 3 and the column value to 3.

Click “Screen” to jump to the following interface, where you can select the screen grouping mode and set the output display so that the physical screen corresponds to the actual output display.

8. Software operation

8.1 Signal Windowing

The video wall controller automatically reads the input source information from the input source list, double-click the signal icon or drag the icon into the window display area to open the signal source that needed display on the wall.

8.2 Screen Group

Click “Operation” Then you can see all the current groups, click on the corresponding group to enter the control of the corresponding group.

8.3 Scene Save and Scene Call

Click “save” in the menu bar to enter a custom name or select the scene number in the blank position as needed. Finally, click “ok” to save the scene. If the scene number selection is the same as the previously saved scene during saving, the previous scene will be automatically replaced.

If you need multiple scenes to poll at the same time, please click "Setting", select the scene you need, and click "Add" to save it as a scene group, and you can start or end it with "Start" and "Stop". Or through "StratRound", one-key polling or closing.

9. Trouble Shooting

1. Software prompt can not control the screen:

Possible cause:

*Main control system is not connected to the video wall controller;

*Power supply is not on;

Solution:

*Check whether the main control computer RS232 is connected to the video wall control system. If not, please connect;

*Set the power switch on.

2. Serial port operation does not work, unable to control the video wall controller

Possible cause:

*Control software does not open the serial port or the serial port is damaged;

*The serial port which turns the RS232 to USB is not installed properly;

Solution:

*Check the connection status of serial port, or replace the serial port line or master computer;

*Properly install the equipment which turns the RS232 to USB

3. Network control can not be connected

Possible cause:

*Network connection test fails;

Solution:

*Retest network connection after equipment connection.

As shown in the figure:

IP address: 192.168.0.xx (2~254)

Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

Default gateway: 192.168.0.1
