6. Functions

As a specialty splicing unit, the product is featured with high brightness, high contrast, huge viewing angle (178° horizontally and vertically) and quick response. It is equipped with the built-in full-featured RS232 control command to facilitate an easy construction of the remote control system. The product supports the following input signals and signals transmission functions.

The above table describes Model AV1 as an example, but in actual operation,AV2, AV3 and AV4 under AV input channel can also transmit AV signals.

7. Splicing Unit

7.1System Composition (2x2 for example)

Taking 2><2 as an example, VGA matrix selects 4-in and 4-out matrix and the video matrix selects 4-in and 4-out matrix (or hybrid matrix with VGA 4-in and 4-out matrix plus video 4-in and 4-out matrix); VGA signals output from each channel of the matrix connects to VGA input of the splicing unit, and video signals output from each channel connects to video input of the splicing unit; to use DVI or HDMI signals, add DVI or HDMI matrix and

connect as shown in the above figure.

7.2Looping Method

Make use of the signal forwarding function and the software provided with the product to realize the splicing of displays easily. We recommend several connections of signal cables (taking 3x3 as the example) for quick installation of the splicing unit as follows.

The splicing unit used at Level 1 can be other displays, but not necessarily No. 1. The number of splicing units needs to be set manually in OSD menu. The principles are shown as follows:

•The number begins with 1.

•The number increases progressively from left to right.

•The number increases progressively from top to bottom.

The splicing units are connected according to the following two principles:

•Each splicing unit shall be connected.

•All used signal cables shall be as short as possible.

7.3 Seamless Video Display Function

Seam properties are set by the software automatically. Each splicing unit has its own frames, so the display area is not 100% in splicing. To prevent rupture of the image, the frames of splicing unit can also be deemed as valid display areas. Therefore, a continuation of the image is not damaged by sacrificing partial image contents. As shown below the top figure displays the effect when the seamless video display function is disabled and the bottom figure displays the effect when the seamless video display function is enabled.

8. B•ic Operations

Power on the splicing unit

•Insert the power cord into the power outlet.

•Press the power key on the remote control or use the power-on key in the software.
